Key Duties
•Conduct public education and awareness raising
•Educate the community about the rehabilitation centre’s services, goals, and the importance of supporting individuals in recovery.
•Organize awareness campaigns, workshops, or public talks to reduce stigma associated with addiction and rehabilitation.
•Collaborate with local organizations, schools, religious institutions, and businesses to create a network of support for individuals in recovery.
•Foster relationships with healthcare providers, social workers, and law enforcement to ensure a holistic approach to rehabilitation.
 
Job Requirements and Experience
1.Diploma in Social Work, Community Development, Public Relations, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2.Proven experience in community engagement, event planning, or program management.
3.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse groups.
4.Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
5.Proficiency in social media platforms and digital communication tools.
6.Passion for community service and a genuine commitment to making a positive impact.
7.Driver’s license is an added advantage
